Winter?

Well you wouldn't think it was December with this Arizona weather, but guess what..I 'm not complaining!
It has been a crazyy past week and a half.
My good friend David came into town from Provo to visit the sweet Victors.
We had a great time while he was here! Of course we had to show him the amazing Mesa Temple Lights!
One of the days we rode bikes all along Tempe Town Lake.That night, the Victors took us, yes even my parents, out to a very nice dinner. I am so grateful for these wonderful people in my life!We had a great time with David here but sad that it was so short! It was a good time while it lasted.
I took Becca out for her very overdue birthday dinner. We always have a blast together!The past few days I got to babysit these crazy kids. I just absolutely adore them!

12 days until Christmas...15 days til I move to Utah!

The Fourth Thursday

of every November..who would have thought?
I just found out that Thanksgiving happens this day every year!

Well it was a fun one! I didn't get to be with any of my siblings for the big feast, but found some of my own friends..aka Grandpa Goodman!They even got out and did some roping! It was so fun to watch!Everyone came over for pie that evening and we had a good time.
Then I was asked to go on a little blind date and I agreed only if it was after 8 oclock and the family had left or was soon going to!
We had a good time out in the cold roasting mallows, drinking hot chocolate, and playing games.I love this weather!Friday morning Bre and I got up to conquer BLACK FRIDAY shopping!! I always love going and having Bre nice enough to come with me again this year!
By Friday night we had been successful in shopping, decorating, and working for me. But even after all that exhaustion, Dad and I still decided we would go to the dunes early Saturday morning. We met Trav and Sunni and the Spencer fam there! We had an absolute BLAST!!Thanks to Dad for making the long drive and being so much fun!Today was a special day. Gunner Gene had a birthday! We love and miss him so much but isn't it great to know that families are forever?I sure think so. And I abslolutely love these pictures. What a sweet boy!
Now comes the month of craziness! But I love it. Theres just something about the Christmas spirit...27 days :] Let the season begin!

The good life

4 days til Thanksgiving! And do I ever have so much to be thankful for. This pic below describes my happiness though. These kids are the light of my life! Who wouldn't smile and giggle at this?..Ahh I just want to squeeze them! So darn cute. I was so blessed to be invited to Laner's bday party. It was a hit! We love this jump rope game! Saturday night was the debut of Catherine Papworth's new cd! And the 2 opening acts happened to be some of my good friends! But this girl is amazing and you should for sure look her up on iTunes. This next week is going to be beyond all joy! I am so blessed to live in this wonderful world with a knowledge of who I am, and where I am going. Thank goodness for the gospel and an incredible family to help me through!

All About Your Heart

So I have really awesome sisters that invite me to incredible things. It was kind of last minute, but we gathered whoever could to go to the Mindy Gledhill Concert. It was AMAZING! Stephanie & Christian Nielsen opened up the show. They are remarkable people who make me very emotional by just being in their presence. If you don't already read nieniedialogues.blogspot.com then I suggest you get on that! We got a very lucky picture with Nie Nie herself.
I loved all of the songs, but one of my absoulte favorites was, Its all about your heart. Mindy is inspiring!
We then got some weird kick and went to Cheesecake Factory! This fully loaded Chocolate Peanut Butter one donates a dollar to Africa and helps you not feel so guilty for eating it :]

I know it probably seems like I eat a lot, but no worries I only feed my sweet tooth sometimes! My cute friend Rachel Martindale works at Nielsens and we got to visit her!
Thanksgiving is next week..which means Black Fridayy! Ah cant wait!

How could October do this to me?
Well it was great while it lasted!I had a fabulous birthday thanks to a million people!
Spent the day with Mom and the night with Becca. So fun!
Then Halloween came! We did some Trunk OR Treat with the family and neighbors at the church. Yay for homemade Root Beer!!I absolutely love costumes and dressing up and seeing how creative people get! Then I had a slight change in costume half way through the night...My good friend Paige decided we should be Insane Asylum Escapees. Pretty clever eh? So we brought our crazy Doc along with us and went to a Chandler airplane hanger for a little party!To end the month with a bang, Dad made a delishh dinner and Mom made this incredible cake that I asked for!What a great month! Now November is here! Which means..21 days til Thanksgiving..and 50 days til Christmas!! They are coming fast I'd say!

Utah Bliss

It started out early Saturday morning on an airplane with this lady!
I got to spend time with my bestest friends. Rachel was even kind enough to share her bed :] I sure miss them!
I was also able to go on a date or two while I was there. Their fall weather is PERFECT right now. Ahh I love it!

Roger and Marilyn, the cute couple I take care of, set me up with this awesome guy. We had a blast in Park City!
Steph and Bryant came into town the last night! We went to Marleys (best sliders ever), Blickenstaff's (my favorite toy store), and Farr's for delicious ice cream!
The next morning it sure was hard to leave. But the trip had been a success and well worth it! Plus I got to ride home with 3 super cute kids that I love.

We even stopped in Cedar City so I could see Mary Elizabeth!!
Once again, Bre and Martin were great hostesses! Many things aren't documented in pics such as: Spending the night at an awesome ski resort, making hair flowers, playing ping pong, touring an aesthetician school, and growing keifer. But they always know how to make me feel at home. And the trip most definitely added to my delight in FALL!

Festivities have just begun! We had our annual Goodman Tamale Making Day last week. It was definitely successful! I'm sad I wasn't able to join in longer. But the ending product is fabulous :]Pumpkin carving. Another one of my favorites! Kelsi HAD to have her scary witch, so we did just that! I think I'm goin pro..The girls found a gigantic spider and had to have a picture being brave/scared with their flashlight! Haha I sure love them.I can't believe this month is already half over. The State Fair is almost here!
And I leave for Utah in less than 36 hours!
Life is good, now lets make it even better!

But now this post is 6 days overdue! Ah I'm behind. But OCTOBER! I love that word, I love this month, and I love the feeling I get just thinking about it. Arizona doesn't have a super big Fall feel so we have to make it that way! But I am excited for all the wonderful things coming up in the next few months.
Recently my good friend Paige had a birthday! And I was lucky enough to be reunited with a kindergarten buddy..small world I'd say!
General Conference was absolutely incredible. I soaked up every word that was spoken and sang! This also adds to my love of October.
While the boys went to Priesthood, some of us girls went out to visit Grandma & Grandpa Kerby. They are just the sweetest things alive! I loved spending that short time with them.
Today, 2 of my best guy friends departed for the MTC! I got to say goodbye a couple days ago. I am so grateful for the worthy men in my life, young and old, that take their Priesthood responsibilites seriously.

This week has already been so wonderful. I am so blessed! I had no work on Monday so got to do some fun things with my mom! I sure love her.
Then Tuesday was such a great day. It started out with the most wonderful dad in the world putting new windshield wipers on my car so I could see through the pooring rain. He didn't know it, but he was an answer to my prayers! Lets just say that was enough to make the rest of my day absolutely PERFECT.

..Less than 2 weeks until I head for Utah to visit! Let the FALL begin!!

As you can tell, I love to laugh! It is most definitely the best medicine.

Opposites Attract.

..or more like- I am attracted to opposites!
I get to switch off between very different ages everyday.
I take care of an older man that needs extra care.
He and his wife are the loveliest of people and I enjoy spending time with them!They are determined to help me find a husband..I have to remind them that I am only 18. But it is so fun to watch them be so cute with eachother and be able to learn wisdom from them! They took me out for their anniversary the other night and we had such a great time.

The other days are filled with anything between 6 year olds and babies..my nieces and nephews! I love being home and being able to see them whenever I want.

We were able to try a new sub place that I absolutely love! I also love the theme and am so grateful for the firemen and policemen that keep us safe!
I love that I get a new adventure each day. Whether its playing cards, going on walks and watching FoxNews all day long, or playing baseball/barbies and changing diapers! Life is interesting and BUSY. But I like it that way!
